Huda Badr Memorial Scholarship

Joseph Congelosi Jr. and Huda Badr grew up as neighbors on North Catherine Street in Plattsburgh. Graduates of the Plattsburgh High School Class of 2001, Joe and Huda were both known for their kindness and generosity. After Joe and Huda tragically passed away a few weeks apart in 2016, their classmates set up this scholarship to honor them and to support a post-graduation learning experience for PHS students who embody the characteristics that defined Joe and Huda.

Join us for the Eighth Annual Congopalooza on Friday, July 19th at Oval Craft Brewing in Plattsburgh. We'll have all the usual fun: raffle prizes and great food and live music.
